EYLEX is a leading SME in the Australian and NZ defence market. We specialise in providing optimised communication systems solutions for our end user customers. We are the exclusive in-country representative for a number of world leading Communications Ancillary OEMs and we fully back our products with extensive through life support services.

As a Technical Assistant you will be required to perform a range of tasks including the manufacture of cable assemblies and the repair of electronic equipment. In this role you will be required to operate hand tools, soldering irons and test equipment. You will also be required to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.

We are looking for someone who has the following attributes an interest in electronics and electronics repair. Excellent work ethic and timeliness. Ability to work in a small team. Excellent communication skills. Ability to show initiative and work unsupervised.

In-house training will be provided. What we require from you is a “can do attitude”, a willingness to learn and attention to detail to be successful in this position. Due to the nature of the work involved, applicants must be Australian citizens.
