Our role greys Ave is the creation of a 276-unit apartment complex in central Auckland, delivered under a 'single-site supported housing' model.
The new development includes both retail/commercial and office spaces alongside shared amenities, designed to create a welcoming, supportive, and connected community within an environment that promotes greater health and wellbeing outcomes.
'Single-site supported housing' is the coordination of public housing coupled with support services to meet customers' social and health needs and increase wellbeing. Greys Ave is one of the first demonstrations of single-site supported housing in Aotearoa New Zealand with 24/7 on-site support services.
Our Kaiāhuru Hapori Kaitiaki - Team Leader Community Guardian will lead and inspire a 24/7 shift-based, frontline team based at 139 Greys Avenue. You will lead, coach, support and mentor the team to provide customers, residents and whānau with concierge services which create a welcoming, safe and friendly atmosphere.
This service includes all residents, visitors and commercial tenants of 139 Greys Avenue, residents of Lower Greys Avenue and the immediate neighbourhood.
Inspired by the whakatauki: Whiria te muka tāngata, weave the people together, the Kaiāhuru Hapori Kaitiaki - Team Leader Community Guardian will lead their team to weave empowered people, a high-functioning community and high-quality assets together for future generations.
What you will bring you'll have a track record of leading, motivating and coaching a high-performing service delivery team, including managing staff development and performance. Such experience within a 24/7 framework is advantageous.
You'll be confident working in a multi-faceted and demanding customer service environment, with knowledge of issues, priorities and concerns facing a wide range of customers with varying needs.
You'll be adept at leading planning to ensure team members have the right support and time to deliver on their priorities, including understanding workload and specialised community needs.
You'll be experienced working with different cultures and/or community groups, with a strong understanding of Te Ao Māori principles and practices and a kaupapa Māori approach to ensure the Hapori Kaitiaki service is culturally appropriate and fit for purpose.
