Team Leader Ultimate Horticultural Solutions Pty Ltd location Sydney. Salary $25 - $34.99 per hour.

Dynamic and innovative Western Suburbs based commercial landscape maintenance company established in 2003 requires a suitably qualified and experienced team leader to join our landscape maintenance team.

This challenging and rewarding position requires a broad knowledge of general horticultural disciplines and the successful applicant will be a well organised and motivated professional with a minimum 2 years previous supervisory experience. You will start and finish from our Penrith workshop on a daily basis.

As we continue to grow, satisfying our broad customer base will be a key responsibility through your demonstrated ability to excel in all aspects of the grounds maintenance industry. Your “hands on” duties will include but not be limited to commercial, industrial and roadside grass mowing and landscape maintenance, soft landscape installation, irrigation installation, staff supervision and training.

You must have a trade qualification (minimum Cert III) in a Horticultural discipline. A current unrestricted manual drivers’ licence, white card, national police check. Chem Cert/Smart Train herbicide application ticket.

Minimum two years’ demonstrated experience in a supervisory role. Additional desirable and highly regarded qualifications will be an MR Driver’s License, First Aid Certificate, EPA Ground Applicator License and traffic control experience preferably with an Implement Traffic Control Plans Yellow Card.

To be successful in this role you must have a formal Horticultural based qualification with a minimum 2 years demonstrated supervisory experience. Be punctual, reliable and ready to work. Have a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to motivate a team. Show a keen eye for detail. Have excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). Be able to time manage and prioritise work loads. Be accountable for your actions and those of your team.
