Team Leader, Hospital Claims Teachers Health Fund location Sydney. We are currently seeking applications for the full-time permanent role of Team Leader, Hospital. Reporting to the Manager, Claims, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Claims team. We are looking for a motivated person with a desire to succeed, a focus on inspiring and encouraging team members and colleagues, and the application to achieve goals. The successful applicant will provide leadership, taking responsibility for the smooth operation of hospital claims processing on a day-to-day basis and being accountable for the optimal functioning of the team. This includes coaching, feedback and providing a high standard of customer service to all stakeholders. Also included in the role is the suggestion and implementation of process improvements that deliver organisational efficiency and enhance our members’ experience with the fund, and working closely with the Continuous Improvement team. The selection criteria for the role are supervisory experience - demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage people, experience in supporting and coaching team members in attainment of kpis, demonstrated capability or experience in managing an operational team, experience in providing high levels of service to internal & external customers, a high level of verbal & written communication skills, high competency in utilising current technology e.g microsoft office, etc, certificate iv in business, management or equivalent. Desirable but not essential are the following knowledge of medical terminology, experience in training, knowledge of private health insurance.
