Team Assistant Lotus People location Sydney. $42 - $45 per hour + super.

Build strong relationships with staff, parents and students in this hugely varied front facing role. Start ASAP, 2 month role initially with strong potential to extend. $42-$45 per hour + super, full time hours. Prestigious school in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with access to stunning harbour views on site. Candidates must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents to be considered for this role.

About the role this role is starting immediately for 2 months with strong potential to extend or go permanent for the right candidate. You will have the opportunity to provide a range of administrative support to the Music Department including front of house reception duties, calendar management and assisting with parent, staff and general enquiries. This is a highly varied role and you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the school.

Duties provide valuable administrative support and coordination to the Music Department. Reception duties including answering calls and welcoming staff and visitors. Assist the team with a variety of tasks including scheduling rooms, calendar and diary management. Ad hoc finance admin tasks including processing invoices.

Skills & experience to be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, flexible in nature and able to work in a fast paced, changing environment. You will be a strong administrator, with experience working a range of varied administrative tasks. You will be a true team player, a real people person with a can-do attitude and happy to help with changing priorities.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience providing administrative support to a team. Excellent customer service skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite. Ability to work in a fast paced role with changing priorities. Experience in music would be desirable but not essential. Candidates will need to have a valid working with children check or be willing to apply for one prior to commencing the role.
