Description

Team Administrator Auckland District Health Board location Auckland.

Based at Auckland City Hospital (ACH) - free shuttle bus from ACH / Grafton Station / Greenlane Clinical Centre. Provide assistance and administrative support to the Clinical Risk and Safety team. Support the safety and quality of healthcare in Te Toka Tumai Auckland. Work closely with a small and dynamic team where the work is always varied and meaningful.

The opportunity this role involves providing appropriate clerical and administrative support to the Clinical Risk and Safety team, so that they can focus on value-adding activities that improve clinical safety within the organisation.

On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself doing such things as - taking minutes for committees, coordinating meetings and schedules, formatting documents, being a central point of communication for teams, and procuring items.

Throughout all of this, you will be expected to demonstrate stellar communication and demonstrate adherence to our organisational values, which serve to create a satisfying and safe working environment. Important skills to be successful in applying for this role, you need to demonstrate your previous administrative or office management experience. This should include advanced computer literacy, MS Office suite proficiency, and the ability to manage clerical and administrative queries from a high-functioning team. Alongside relevant work experience, and/or a tertiary qualification, you will be able to demonstrate organisational skills, adaptability, friendliness, and initiative-taking.
