The Roles

We are seeking educators able to work, preferably across more than one specialisation and discipline (programs), with the level of appointment commensurate to experience and qualifications.

Special and Inclusive Education

Appointees will demonstrate a high level of connectivity between the education of pre-service teachers, their own teaching experiences, engagement with schooling/early childhood and industry sectors, and demonstrated research capability.

Role Requirements

PhD in a relevant discipline OR
Substantial progress towards a PhD and professional equivalency which would require demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the relevant discipline curriculum, national learning frameworks and the quality agenda with a research profile evidenced by publications (and demonstrated ability to teach at University level) AND
An established or emerging track record in quality research and outputs in Field of Research codes 13 or 39
Expertise, experience, and a strong pedagogical approach to education in the relevant discipline
Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian external regulatory environment for Initial Teacher Education
Appointment at the Professor or Associate Professor level will require candidates to also have an extensive proven national and/or international record in research.
