Teacher Aide Bethlehem College location Bay of Plenty.

Bethlehem College is a non-denominational, co-educational Christian College (Y1 -13). A Fixed Term position has become available at our Tauranga campus, for a Teacher Aide.  The successful candidate will join our team of teacher aides working in our Secondary School, Y7-13, in an inclusion focussed school. Flexibility is required to meet the changing needs of the student and Learning Support team.   Approximately 10-15 hours per week. Fixed Term position (Starting Wednesday 22nd of July until  Friday 6th November). Teacher aide to join our team of teacher aides working in Secondary Y7-13, in an inclusion focused school.

The successful person may work across a variety of situations, with particular attention to a small group of senior students who have specific learning needs, and supporting a blind student in Mathematics. The position will involve working within main classroom setting, with some small group withdrawal in the Te Whare Ako - The Learning Centre. Training will be provided during the final week Term 2 (week of 29th June).

Further Requirements Applicants are required to have an active personal Christian faith. A character reference report is required from a Pastor or similar person, which indicates your present (or recent) involvement with a Christian church or fellowship.
