Teacher Aide Huapai District School location Auckland.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our learning support team at Huapai District School. Our support team is a key component within our school and highly significant in the support we offer children. We see this position as key to the ongoing success and strength within our school in supporting children to be the very best they can be.

The position may include supporting learning programmes, health conditions and students emotional regulation along with supporting our ESOL programme. The position will be responsive and supportive to children who require additional support as needs arise.

Our ideal applicants will be reliable, energetic and open to new ideas. Be able to use initiative and work effectively as part of teams across the school. Have good communication skills. Contribute to a positive working environment. Have experience working in a Teacher Aide/Learning Assistant role.

Ideally we see the position as full time (5 days per week) but recognise 4 days per week may be an attractive option for some. Hours will be the school hours (9.00am - 3.00pm) school term only (40 weeks).
