About Us Parininihi ki Waitōtara (PKW) is a Māori Incorporation based in Taranaki, Aotearoa with a Te Iho (vision) of: He Tangata, He Whenua, He Oranga – Sustaining and Growing our People through Prosperity.
Established in 1976, PKW manages and administers land and land related assets returned to Taranaki Māori following the Taranaki Land Wars. We have over 11,500 shareholders and an elected Committee of Management who govern the organisation with Māori values and customs that underpin the Incorporation's environment and practices.

PKW oversees 20,000 hectares of some of the most productive dairy land in the world and have a range of business interests, including dairy farming, crayfish, forestry, hospitality, and commercial property. We have an exciting opportunity within our Shareholder Engagement Team to advance our strategic goals and aspirations.
The Role PKW are seeking an exceptional applicant to fill our Te Rau Whakauruora vacancy, reporting to our Te Rau Whakaihoiho (Kaitiaki Taiao Manager). Key aspects of this role are to assist Te Rau Titikura (General Manager Shareholder Engagement) and Te Rau Whakaihoiho to execute and embed the PKW Kaitiakitanga Strategy within all aspects of the PKW Group.
Key responsibilities of Te Rau Whakauruora include kaitiakitanga Project Delivery. Cultural Tautoko of Shareholder Engagements. Tuakana Tautoko of Akonga. Communications and Reporting. Stakeholder Relationships. Health & Safety leadership. Organisational Responsibilities.
About you, we invite applications from candidates with the following understanding of Māori structures and tikanga Māori. Knowledge and experience in some or all of the following: Dairy, drystock, livestock and beef operations, land management. Tikanga Māori and Te Reo Māori are desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate understanding and empathy with Māori aspirations for Maori economic development.
