About the role as a Recruitment Advisor for NZ Police, you'll work with some of the best recruiters in NZ delivering real benefit on a national level. Your role will involve managing the end to end recruitment of all roles (Employee & Constabulary) within NZ Police.

This really is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about recruitment to join a highly successful team. You will have experience in end to end recruitment at Advisory level, with previous success achieved in a high volume, fast paced recruitment role or a relationship and service based (rather than solely dollar driven) agency position. Either way your reputation has been hard won, but is well deserved.

Attention to detail and top-level service are your key drivers, as are your familiarity and comfort with compliance-based recruitment tools and systems. Proven experience managing senior level stakeholder relationships is also key to being successful in this position.

Our team is responsible for continuous improvement initiatives to ensure we're delivering the best recruitment service possible. We work collaboratively across the organisation with various workgroups and with our external recruitment partners.

Being able to demonstrate superior competency in behavioural based interviewing, supplemented by psychometric assessment tools and their use in the selection process is essential. You will enjoy being part of a professional (and fun), high functioning team, have sound judgement, an eye for detail and an ability to build rapport with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Key accountabilities high volume recruitment advisory, Talent Selection, Applicant care/management, Building relationships with hiring managers, Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, Strong experience of developing solutions and managing challenging conversations with both applicants and stakeholders.
