About the Role:

This role is a key role in the Procurement Team, focused on our spend, and working with our Procurement Team, business partners, and suppliers to deliver great outcomes for our business. The role will also offer the opportunity to gain exposure across all key areas of Procurement to build future scale and capability across our Team and business.

The role will support the Procurement Director – Indirect and CoE and take on direct responsibility to manage spend across several of our categories, building the skills and capability to lead much more. The role will scale to the capability of the individual, and offer direct accountability on setting supplier strategy, completing key tenders, build new supplier capability, and ultimately deliver new business opportunities to suppliers, while negotiating enhanced value for our business through great savings, break through innovation, and a more sustainable Supply Chain for our business.

The role also has an ownership of reporting, analysis, price projection and SAP interaction, to ensure fundamental skills are developed, and a real appreciation of the value of better buying – while providing key analytical support across the TAG Procurement Team.

The role will also directly own the Co-Man / Finished Goods accountability within the Australian business. Maintaining key supply relationships, sourcing new ones, and supporting cross-functional partners with delivering Co-Man solutions to meet business needs beyond our existing network.

What your days look like:

Support TAG Procurement to deliver category plans and manage inflation
Accountable for buying decision making based on team direction
Takes action within a category to deliver improved $ spend outcomes and drive savings
Accountable for areas of delegated authority regarding supplier performance in - quality, service, risk, and spend
Leadership role in managing the Australian Co-Man / Finished Goods process
Review, assess and raise supply risk as directed
Responsible for actioning decisions and expediting as required to meet NPD timelines
Responsible for managing their time to best deliver outcomes for the team - no direct management of team, but active participant in cross-functional teams
Accountable for running RFI, RFP and pricing activity to deliver category saving plans
Responsible for the detail of Procurement activity, across reporting, analysis, projections, and SAP/system updates
Active in aligning suppliers to Sustainability policies, targets, and tracking progress
