Systems Engineer Dota IT location Sydney. Salary $90 - $99.99 per hour.

We are an IT services and solution company that has an excellent opportunity with a large government department of 600+ staff.  We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer, with advanced technical experience and great communication skills, for a 15 month, part-time contract to assist us with the maintenance of a major government client. We require the applicant to have a minimum 2 - 3 days available to work, but this can sometimes ramp up to 5 days depending on changing client requirements.

Starting at a probational contract rate of $90 inc GST per hour, this will increase to $100 inc GST per hour after 3 months and there is room to negotiate for a further increase after 12 month's exceptional performance. It would be preferable if you have a consulting background as this is a client-facing role and requires the ability to establish rapport and build strong relationships with people.

In this role you will be responsible for design, installation, configuration, monitoring, day-to-day maintenance and support of IT systems including the following Amazon Web Services, Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Citrix XenApp, Netscaler, Office 365, IIS, web-based systems, Anti-Virus Systems, Backup Systems, Basic Networking Skills, Advanced Troubleshooting Skills, Ability to handle various projects and tasks concurrently.
