Systems Administrator New Zealand Pharmaceuticals location Manawatu.

Systems Administrator we are leaders in the supply of our niche range of products and our success stems from the shared passion that runs through our dedicated staff. Our manufacturing plant and head office is based in Palmerston North, NZ and we are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our business services team to be a key driver for change.

Reporting to the IT Manager, this role requires a highly customer focused individual who has an analytical and methodical approach and is comfortable with creating and updating IT documentation.

In this role you will partner with the business to deliver a wide range of professional IT services such as user support, training, communication & documentation. Fault diagnosis & remediation. Windows Services including DNS, AD, DFS, DHCP & Group Policy. Powershell Scripting. Network infrastructure including VPNs, subnetting & routing. Undertaking scheduled maintenance & upgrades.

This role will provide Level 2+ user support for 100+ desktops which includes occasional afterhours remote support for a 25+ desktop office based in the UK and staff who are traveling overseas. In addition to user support you will be involved with the design and implementation of new or upgraded IT systems. Due to the nature of the industry, a significant portion of work will be related to documentation in order to meet a high level of IT quality assurance. Specific IT projects will also be allocated depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
