About Orange Sky

At Orange Sky we are on a mission to Positively Connect Communities and we do this by providing the world's-first free mobile laundry and shower service to people experiencing hardship. We offer a platform for everyday Australians & Kiwis to connect by creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Supporter Care Lead who thrives at the intersection of human connection and data integrity.

In this unique role, you’ll be at the heart of Orange Sky’s relationship with our incredible community of donors, volunteers, and supporters ensuring every interaction is meaningful, timely, and aligned with our values of dignity, connection, and respect. You'll oversee our supporter care operations, lead our CRM and data strategy, and ensure compliance with privacy legislation.

You’ll also lead a small but mighty team, helping shape a supporter experience that’s just as impactful as our work in the community.

In a nutshell, this role is responsible for:

Leading the delivery of exceptional supporter care across Australia and New Zealand.
Creating and improving supporter care processes and journeys to drive long-term engagement.
Owning and evolving our CRM (Salesforce) and data strategy to support fundraising and digital engagement goals.
Leading data governance and compliance initiatives to ensure supporter trust and organisational integrity.
Translating data into actionable insights that improve decision-making and campaign performance.
Coaching and supporting two direct reports and empowering the wider team through collaboration, training, and support.
Driving cross-functional collaboration with Fundraising, Operations, Digital, and Finance to deliver consistent and impactful supporter experiences.

Convinced this is the role for you? Tick some boxes!

You’re someone who’s not only a people person but also has a sharp eye for detail and systems. You love thinking big while also rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Proven experience in CRM/data strategy, database management, and supporter/customer experience.
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Experience with privacy and data protection compliance (e.g. Privacy Act, GDPR).
A strategic mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
A collaborative leadership style and experience supporting a high-performing team.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally.
A values-led, service-oriented mindset, and a desire to make a real impact.

Benefits

At Orange Sky, we want every person to be "Better for Being Orange". That is every one of our volunteers, friends, and supporters, all while working together towards delivering our mission of "Positively Connecting Communities". You not only get to work with an outstanding bunch of high-performing people, but you're supported to continue your own personal growth and development in an inclusive and flexible environment, with benefits including:

Attractive and fair remuneration package based on industry benchmarking;
