Position Overview

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst - ANZ plays a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Hunter Douglas’ manufacturing and supply chain operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role provides critical insight into operational costs, efficiencies, and variances, enabling data-driven decisions that directly influence cost control, productivity, and strategic initiatives.

We are seeking candidates with strong financial analytical skills and hands-on exposure to manufacturing environments. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and is eager to build a career at the intersection of finance and operations.

What you'll do

Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to analyse operational performance, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
Support month-end reporting, including journal entries and reconciliations for manufacturing cost centres.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key operational metrics (e.g. labour utilisation, waste, OEE).
Maintain and monitor standard cost data, analyse production variances and COGS, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Build cost models for new manufacturing scenarios and deliver variance analysis to support decision-making.
Collaborate with Plant Managers, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of initiatives and supplier contracts.
Provide financial support for audits, compliance, ESG initiatives, and DoA adherence.
Play an active role in cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Who you are

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2+ years of experience in a finance role with direct exposure to manufacturing operations (essential).
Strong financial and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret and present complex data.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modelling) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. JDE, D365).
Clear communicator, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
