About the role NZ Police are offering an opportunity to join the Forensic Services team as a Forensics Supervisor based in the Waitemata District and will be responsible for looking after our people and ensuring that they are safe and enabled. As a Supervisor of Forensic Services you will be coordinating and managing the staffing and resources required for day to day crime scene examinations across Waitemata.

You will be building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external work groups and agencies. You and your team will be striving for excellent service delivery and continuous improvement while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities to look after our people. To have oversight of forensic scene examination service delivery. To provide management of forensic team service delivery. To provide general management of forensic team. To provide excellent customer service with all stakeholders.

The successful applicant will need to be Qualified within the Crime Scene Examiner's Career Structure as a Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO) or hold an equivalent and relevant tertiary qualification as they will be required to train and mentor their team and provide subject matter expertise.
