Student Services Officer or Administration Langports English Language College location Sydney CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs. Langports Sydney is 100% not-for-profit and supports the Langports Foundation activities, helping disadvantaged youth through educational programs. The role we are seeking a Student Services Officer to look after Administration for our evening courses at Langports Sydney. The Student Services Officer - Administration plays a key role within the Students Services team and is responsible for student administration, including processing of enrolments, generating invoices, processing of debtors, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, and providing administrative support to both the Student Services and Academic teams. In addition to this, the role also includes providing quality service to all students, staff and visitors at the reception desk, including telephone communication. The successful candidate will add to a welcoming and enjoyable learning environment by displaying excellent interpersonal skills. They will need to have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and understanding of a cross-cultural environment. The working hours for this role are from 4:00pm to 10:00pm including 30 minutes of paid meal break (6:30pm-7:00pm). Skills & experience strong organisation and communication skills, initiative and the ability to create a positive energising presence in the student community are essential. You will be working as part of a small team where the ability and willingness to multitask is important, as is the desire to deliver a high standard of service to all our stakeholders. Experience of working with international students would be a definite advantage. Applicants must have experience in administrative/operational positions that have had a strong client focus, preferably in a service industry.
