Student Engagement Advisor Australian College of Applied Professions location Brisbane.

About the role acap is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a permanent position for the role of Student Engagement Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance and support for student administration.

This role is also responsible for coordinating the case management of ACAP cohorts and individual students, delivering professional advice and services, and engaging with specialist and academic colleagues to ensure students can successfully progress in their studies.

The Student Engagement Officer is also responsible for engaging and contacting students proactively, by inbound and outbound calls and emails and other communication channels. The role reports to the National Student Engagement Manager and is a part of the wider Student Engagement Team which manages the learning journey of the student from beginning to end.

The candidate we seek will ideally have exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-first ethos. Demonstrated computer literacy, including advanced competencies in using Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, and student records software.

Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise and a willingness to be flexible in undertaking administrative duties. Demonstrated attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all administrative activities.

Ability to work as part of a team and in a way that is flexible and adaptable. Self-directed with an ability to identify, secure and nurture opportunities and relationships. Strong commitment to personal excellence and achievement of targets and high professional standards.

Self-disciplined and independently driven but able to work effectively in a team environment with shared goals. Discretion when working with confidential information. Willingness to embrace change within a dynamic environment of systems, processes and personnel responsibilities.
