Student Admin Assistant Macquarie University location Sydney. $47.33 - $51.01 p.h. + plus 10% superannuation.

Salary Package: From $47.33 to $51.01 per hour (HEW Level 4) plus 10% employer's superannuation. Appointment Type: Casual. Location: Macquarie University Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde. To provide student customer service and administration transactional services across a range of teams in Student Shared Services.

Key accountabilities provide customer service and transactional support to international and domestic students, referring or escalating as appropriate. Maintain and apply knowledge of student administration and/or Student Connect policies and procedures relating to international and domestic students at the University.

Undertake student administration transactional processing using a range of student administration systems ensuring timely, accurate and quality assured data processing, and undertaking a range of associated administrative and/or customer service related tasks. Assess, communicate and follow-up student queries and ensure the correct application of the University's requirements.

Process written, email, phone or in-person enquiries in a timely manner. Provide feedback to support student services, process and systems improvement. Prioritise time and tasks to meet targets and timelines. Provide information and data as requested.

Experience in customer service or administration. Knowledge of the higher education system. Able to contribute to continual improvement initiatives in student support services. Experience completing high volume administration functions. Familiarity with business systems. Experience using databases and running reports. Ability to build and manage partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
