About the role as part of this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following working closely and building relationships with Executive Committees and Owners. Managing a portfolio of buildings and advising clients in accordance with relevant legislation. Liaising with developers, builders, owners, tenants, contractors, building managers and various others.
Preparation of budgets/forecasts, meeting agendas, minutes, letters and other documentation as required. Making site visits and doing general inspections of buildings under management. Implementing maintenance programs for buildings under management. Establishing insurance policies and lodging claims where required.
Convening, Attending General Meetings and Executive Committee meetings. Arranging quotations with contractors for repairs and maintenance works across your portfolio. Attending ACAT hearings if so required. Ensuring legislation and by-laws are adhered to. Training and mentoring provided.
The Successful applicant the successful applicant will display the following key attributes the ability to take ownership of a portfolio of buildings and make it their own. A great attitude and must be willing to learn. Ability to negotiate and being confident in managing disputes as they arise. Previous experience conducting meetings. Ability to draft clear and concise correspondence on a regular basis.
Proven resilience and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and time management skills. Being competent in Microsoft Office and Excel. An understanding of financial statements. Prior experience will be well regarded.
