About the Opportunity
New full time permanent opportunity based in Henderson, WA. The Support and Test Equipment (STE) Calibration Officer reports to the STE Manager responsible ensuring all calibrated support and test equipment is safe, certified and ready for use and located appropriately, in support of scheduled maintenance periods and urgent defects. This includes the issue and return of support and test equipment.
Responsibilities
Calibration maintenance & recertification of various equipment gas monitors/torque Wrenches/pressure gauges certification (mandatory)
Electrical Test and tag of single and three phase equipment certifications (mandatory)
Entering of support and test equipment details into IFS (ASC’s asset management system) as required.
Raising purchase requisitions
Sourcing and hiring of equipment where required
Assisting trades to locate support and test equipment as requested.
Assist trades to rectify any deficiencies in support and test equipment or availability
Provide support through issue and return of Support and Test Equipment
Regularly liaising with various Stakeholders
Updating of Database and KPI information
About you
Working knowledge of gas monitors/torque wrenches/pressure gauges certification (mandatory)
Ability to perform Electrical Test and Tag single and three phase equipment certifications (mandatory)
Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication trade/product knowledge is highly desirable
Purchasing of support and test equipment
Operational experience of Forklift /Walkie stacker
Knowledge of safe working practices, legislative requirements and Australian standards pertaining to specific equipment and tools.
Advanced computer skills particularly in corporate databases, inventory control programmes and Microsoft office packages.
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
