Job Summary:
As a Senior Application Solution Architect, you will be responsible for collaborating with our business on various internal and customer-facing projects. Your primary objective will be to provide technical solutions that align with the HUB24 Group Enterprise Architecture and business objectives. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating the solution to the development team and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Understand and document the current IT architecture, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop target architectures that address product and IT challenges, ensuring clear documentation.
Support application modernization strategy, enterprise architecture, and roadmaps.
Provide leadership in application and microservice design, data modelling, integration, and scalability.
Establish application architecture principles and best practices.
Design unified authentication and authorization architectures for both legacy and modern apps, balancing security and usability.
Implement proofs of concept and validate integrations with cloud, on-premises, and third-party services.
Continuously improve technology processes by identifying shared services, cloud infrastructure, and new tools.
Develop sequencing plans for transitioning from current to target states.
Understand technical roadmaps and assist both business and engineering teams in aligning technical and business initiatives.
Plan and prioritize architecture projects with delivery and infrastructure teams.
Develop business cases for third-party technology purchases and ensure successful implementation in coordination with the PMO.
Provide thought leadership on IT system improvements and solutions.
Ensure compliance with data security, data access controls, and data governance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering or related field.
8+ years in technology solution design and implementation.
Proven leadership in application modernization and microservices projects.
Strong knowledge of microservices, API-driven design, cloud architectures, and IAM tools (OAuth, OpenID, JWT); Auth0 experience preferred.
Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and SDLC tools (Git, Terraform, CI/CD).
Experience with message queues and data streaming (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar).
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, especially Scrum.
Skilled in guiding teams through architectural decisions and collaborating on secure coding practices.
Knowledge of financial market operations and financial platform technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Availability for out-of-hours support during major releases.
