We are seeking an experienced Family Law solicitor with at least 2 years Post Admission experience in the Toowoomba or surrounds area, for a fantastic organisation, that specialises in Child protection and advocating for the rights of children, amongst other areas of Family Law.

This role offers complete flexible working arrangements for the right person, with very good work, life balance and a mix of home and office work, with some travel involved too. Travel to Cherbourg, Gympie, Kingaroy or Mirgen may be required on an ad-hoc basis.

You can expect to take ownership of around 40 matters at any one time, including but not limited to child protection matters, in which you will advocate for indigenous children and their families, with a focus on reunification, divorce and basic family settlements.

Ideally, we are seeking an indigenous solicitor or a practitioner who possesses empathy and understanding of cultural differences and understanding. This is of the utmost importance. Negotiable salary, plus car, laptop and phone all form part of the salary package.
