Our client is located in Melbourne's north-east and has vast experience providing spatial solutions, including software (SAAS) to local and state governments and private industry. Due to an employee maternity leave there is now opportunity for a Developer to join the team on a one year contract with possible renewals. Here is an opportunity to make a major contribution to the product development and management of products and services implemented in SQL, VB, ASP, .NET, C++, C# and Javascript. Skills and experience required 2+ years commercial software development experience with javascript, visual basic, asp, html and other web application languages, 2+ years experience database administration and programming, relational database management knowledge - microsoft sql server 2005, 2008, 2012, reporting services, experience with software-as-a service and hosted software infrastructure, experience with software design methodologies and software design patterns, experience with spatial data applications desirable, experience with c, c++ and c# programming languages desirable, tertiary qualifications required in computing, engineering or equivalent disciplines.
