Family Works is a service of Presbyterian Support East Coast that changes the cycle of family violence, abuse and neglect by empowering children and their families through social work and counselling services. Our Social Workers in Schools work closely with students and their families, Principals, teaching staff and other professionals to enhance educational and social outcomes.

You will have a degree or diploma qualification in Social Work. ANZASW or NZRB registration. A commitment to child protection social work practice. A demonstrated ability to engage students and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. A commitment to working collaboratively with other professionals. The ability to facilitate programmes for children and adults.

Proficient IT skills demonstrated assessment, analytical and conceptual skills. Proven time management, excellent communication and reporting skills.
