Social Media Specialist EECA location Wellington.

About the role​ In this role you'll develop and implement EECA's social media strategy and be responsible for EECA's social media presence, delivering content that is on brand. You'll monitor and manage all social media channels including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

You'll deliver expertise on all things social media and will leverage and maximise the EECA brand, staying up to date with the latest social media practices and technologies. This is a critical, influential and delivery focussed role, and provides an opportunity to have a direct impact on energy efficiency, promotion of renewables and carbon emission reduction in New Zealand.

​About you​ you'll have a tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing (or relevant field) and be experienced in managing social media, online channels and social media influencing. You'll have an excellent understanding of and experience in using paid social media. You'll also have knowledge and experience using data and analytics to continuously improve and drive decisions.

You might be from an agency background, or have been in-house managing social channels. It goes without saying that you'll be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. In addition, we're looking for a team player with excellent communication skills. On top of all of this, you'll have a passion for mobilising New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.​
