An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Interior Warehouse, bringing affordable, luxury living to New Zealand! Interior Warehouse was borne out of the idea that New Zealanders are paying too much for furniture and home accessories, with very limited unique product on the market.

We are now seeking a creative, enthusiastic and agile Social Media Marketing & Brand Manager with a passion for Interior Design. Flexibility is key within our small team; no job is too big or too small and every day is different! You’ll need to be a fast learner, willing to experiment with some solid experience under your belt.

This position would ideally suit a Marketing or Design graduate looking to put experience into practice or a more seasoned Marketing or Design veteran looking to expand their wings. We’d also welcome applications from Marketing Coordinators, Administrators or similar who meet our essential criteria and are seeking some autonomy for their next role. Most importantly, you’ll need to be a great fit for our small team, be able to get stuck in with a strong work ethic and you’ll need a good sense of humour!

The role creative & marketing you’ll produce high quality content for our Social Media platforms and EDM. We’ll expect you to manage the daily post scheduling using our tool, “Later”, making sure that we stay on brand and that our customers are engaged.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring analytics and promoting posts working to budget. Be prepared for a few jeans and t-shirt days, as you’ll be responsible for the photographic production of all the new décor and furniture which arrives instore. We’ll let you loose on our website - updating images, text, products and videos with support from our web provider.

We’d love to see intermediate Graphic Design ability and a strong eye for aesthetics, as you’ll be producing our billboards, magazine ads and stationery. Ideally, you’ll be familiar with Interior Design and home trends, and be passionate about staying on the pulse of what’s hot and what’s not.

Customer service you’ll need to be great with people; friendly, positive and willing to go the extra mile to answer all our customer queries online. Professionalism is key as you’ll be our main brand representative online, responding to customer reviews on Social Media, Google and Email. We’d love if it you’ve worked in retail before - even better if this involved fashion, home or furniture.

Sales administration organisation will be one of your super-powers, as you’ll be processing online orders before handing over to our Warehouse Manager. You’ll be uploading all of our new products to the website with creative product descriptions and essential details and specifications.

The Essential criteria confident & competent user of Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office & able to grasp new technology quickly. Experience & understanding of Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube etc - ideally within a professional context.

Intermediate Graphic Design abilities. A creative eye for aesthetics & detail (making things “look good!”). Strong communicator with a high standard of writing ability. Customer service experience & an understanding of the retail environment.

Independent learner with the ability to make decisions autonomously. The ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines & plan effectively. At least x12 months in a Junior Marketing or Marketing Administration position OR an educational background in Design or Marketing related fields with transferable work experience history. A positive outlook, great time management skills, strong work ethic & sense of humour.

The Desirable criteria previous experience in Social Media Management / Digital Marketing / E-Commerce. Experience / working knowledge of SEO/SEM, marketing database & social media advertising campaigns.

Previous experience using MailChimp; Later or Hootsuite. Experience / working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript etc useful but not essential. Google Ads/Facebook Digital Marketing Associate Certification or experience. Experience managing video content production.
