MSA NT is a multi-faceted construction services and environmental contractor with over 25 years experience delivering small to large scale complex projects across the Northern Territory. We have grown and developed into an industry-leading contractor delivering challenging defence projects working together with Tier 1 customers.

About the role with the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Northern Territory team to work on our various projects based in NT. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing, initiating, and managing the project and employees, ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires experience in building services. This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Relocation cost is covered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities leading and managing internal and external contractors. Preparing RFI, Notices of Delay, variations and EOT submissions. Providing weekly reports to customers and project manager. Ensuring compliance with customers and company safety, quality and business processes. Writing and reviewing JSA’s and risk assessments.
Reading, interpreting and communicating plans effectively to stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions for the project. Building positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders such as customers, project team, management, suppliers and subcontractors. Managing cost control, reporting, procurement and contract management.
About you to be successful in the role, you will need minimum 5+ years experience in a site manager position working on 3 Mil + projects. Excellent time management and people management skills. High attention to detail and safety-focused approach to work. Experience managing construction scheduling.
Construction trade qualified. Problem-solving and innovation skills as an individual and as a team player. Construction White Card and Current driver’s license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong commitment to Work Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to obtain DCSI and Australian Defence Security Clearance. Senior first aid training. Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessment.
Experience using Procore and Pronto or similar related Project Management & ERP programs (Desirable). Ability to occasionally travel within Northern Territory to our regional construction sites. In return, you will be provided with additional LAFHA (living away from home allowance).
