Your new role due to continued organic growth and recently secured projects, our client is now in a position to engage five Working Site Foreman for a number of commercial and residential projects in Wellington.

Reporting to the Project Manager or Site Manager depending on the size of the project, general duties include management and supervision of daily site activities. The delegation of duties, problem solving and liaison with subcontractors. Running the day to day site activities, distributing of site materials, supervising site trades and labour, liaising with subcontractors, clients, engineer, architects and management.

Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget to the highest of standards. Responsible for allocation of work, ordering materials and labour, reading plans, set out and generally increasing the productivity Ensure excellent teamwork and a culture of mutual respect between team members, subcontractors, clients and consultants. Manage labour required to complete projects within the allotted programme and within budget. Be willing and able to work on the tools if and when required while managing all direct reports and labour.

What you'll need to succeed carpentry building trade background. Demonstrate history as a Foreman. Good workmanship, positive attitude, team player with natural leadership style. Be in New Zealand and hold a working visa.
