Our aim is to improve relationships and reduce stressors for inmates/transferees, so they feel cared for. We are seeking a capable and motivated Site Administration Supervisor to join our team at the Nauru Regional Processing Centre.

About the role in your role as Site Administration Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily support operations of the Nauru Regional Processing Centre and planning the most efficient administrative procedures. You will supervise a team of professionals to complete a range of administrative duties.

General Duties include but are not limited to build and maintain a productive working relationship with team members, transferees and stakeholders. Provide high quality administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, to support the effective operation of the Facility. Provide administrative support to the development of asrs and tracking progress.

Oversee daily duties of employees to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed. work with other supervisors to coordinate workplace activities with other teams. Complete administration related audits and checks, as per schedule on files, systems and control.

Stay abreast with all organisational changes and business developments. Manage schedules and deadlines. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints. Report maintenance issues in a timely manner to ensure the efficient and safe running of the facility. Attend regular training and refresher sessions to maintain skills and qualifications including but not limited to cultural awareness, mental health, cpr and first aid.

To be successful in this role you will have willingness and ability to undertake induction training, working and living in a hot tropical environment on Nauru. Similar experience in a previous role experience working in a remote setting. Experience working with a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary workforce. Excellent communication and motivational skills. A deadline-driven attitude and high level of organisational skills.

Excellent computer skills including microsoft office suite as well as other supporting systems such as records management systems. Working with children certification. Undertake, pass and maintain an australian federal police check (this will be arranged by mtc). Undertake and pass national government security vetting (this will be arranged by mtc). Undertake, pass and maintain a full physical and health assessment (initial assessment will be arranged by mtc). Provide evidence that you are vaccinated against covid -19 (double vaccinated) plus one booster with a vaccine recognised in australia.
