Digital Enablement Program
The Digital Enablement Program (DEP) delivers foundational capabilities in line with the department's Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) Strategy. The program encompasses key enabling projects such as:
* Data and Analytics Platform
* Content Services Platform (incl. digital records management)
* Commerce and Finance
* Integration and Identity
Service Transition Manager
The Service Transition Manager provides expert guidance across the program as projects transition to support and management by the business. The role requires acquiring a deep understanding of the technical solutions being implemented, the current state, and the proposed future state for support. Transition documentation such as Transition Approach, Service Definition, Operational Support Model, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models will need to be developed.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate programs and guide the development of ICT service delivery and transition plans tailored to project needs.
* Liaise with Program and Project Managers to establish and adapt transition plans to align with program deliverables.
* Ensure ICT Service designs and transition plans adhere to Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) service design package (SDP) requirements.
* Coordinate with Project and Change Managers to integrate changes into the business-as-usual (BAU) environment across people, processes, and technology.
* Develop and implement operational readiness plans, including deployment, data migration, support documentation, training, and engagement activities.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service development and delivery.
* Monitor and report on ICT Service transition progress, addressing risks and ensuring outcomes align with business requirements.
* Recommend Service Improvement Plans.
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Service Design and Transition.
* Proven success with enterprise-level ICT projects/programs.
* Relevant IT Service Management experience (ITIL4TM Certification ideal).
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
* Desirable: Certifications in ITIL, M365, and D365.
* Tertiary qualifications in related fields highly regarded.
