About Us Kernow has been at the forefront of the environmental health industry in Victoria for more than 24 years. With more than 40 Environmental Health Professionals across metro and rural councils plus a large immunisation team and support personnel, our staff have significant expertise and are respected leaders in the field. We have long standing relationships with a number of large and small councils in metro and rural Victoria and provide short term contracting solutions to various other councils within Victoria.
The role part of a team of professional and experienced Environmental Health Officers, you will be reporting to the Team Leader, North East based at Wangaratta. The role is a Part-time role (0.5 FTE) with flexibility as to how the 0.5 is worked across the week.
In this role, your core responsibilities will be providing a high level of administrative support to enable the efficient and effective delivery of the environmental health portfolio by the Environmental Health Team at Wangaratta.
Management of the databases owned by the Environmental Health Team. Process improvement and implementation of technological change across the portfolio. Fostering and promoting a culture of strong Stakeholder relationships (internal and external) Creating and promoting an exemplary customer experience and Managing small projects.
About you to be successful in this role, you will have recent experience as an administrator or office manager with proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of products. You will be professional, detail oriented, efficient and organised. You will also have excellent communication and time-management skills, a demonstrated ability to operate collaboratively within a team environment and manage stakeholders. You will be motivated to develop professionally and embrace new technology.
