Service Desk Team Leader Parliamentary Service location Wellington.
We have a vacancy for an experienced Service Desk Team Leader to join our Information, Systems and Technology team. This is a key role where you will lead our Service Desk team to provide customer centric services to Parliament.
The Service Desk has recently been brought in house and we will be starting on the ServiceNow journey early 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to build customer centric services on a modern service platform.
Responsibilities include the following promoting a customer service focused environment to maintain an excellent experience for all support requests. Managing the day to day service desk operations for our customers. People management of all team members including workload management, objective setting, performance development, training plans and personal development.
What you will bring to the roll a real passion for people leadership, coaching and development and the ability to drive team engagement. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills. The ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Demonstrable experience in leading a Service Desk team in a customer first environment. Experience using and configuring processes within a modern IT Service Management tool. Diploma or degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
