Due to recent growth in our service in in the Auckland region, we are looking for a part time Service Coordinator to join our team.  The Service Coordinator has a key role in the ensuring our patients feel welcomed into our service and continue to receive the best possible support along their rehabilitation journey.  The Service Coordinator will be based in our centre in Mt Eden, and we are seeking self-motivated administrative / customer service expert who enjoys keeping busy and using their initiative.

Some of the Service Coordinator’s responsibilities are welcoming patients and their support people in person, on the phone or via email. Ensuring information entered into our patient database is accurate and up to date. Assisting patients with requests for consumable stock items. Preparing reports and referrals. Supporting the prosthetists in making appointments. Providing effective and efficient administrative support to the clinical prosthetists and wider team. Identifying inefficiencies and making recommendations for improvements.

This is an interesting and varied role, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator who stays calm under pressure and has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  You will need to flexible and adaptable and enjoy working as part of a team. Along with the above, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and an ability to work with people from all walks of life.  You will need to be tech savvy, and most importantly have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine desire to help.
