Responsibilities prepare tables for meals, welcome customers and escort them to their tables, present menus for them to browse, engage in suggestive selling, take orders for food and beverages, serve food and beverages, check on customers’ satisfaction of the food or beverages ordered and take action to correct any problems, present bill when the customer calls for it, clean tables after customers have completed their patronage, general housekeeping duties, stock service areas with supplies such as condiments and tableware.
