Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Systems Analyst, to join our Digital Services team at Edith Cowan University.
The Role
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Senior Systems Analyst – Applications to join our high-performing Digital Services team. In this influential role, you’ll lead the integration, development, and evolution of a diverse portfolio of IT applications that support all corners of the University – academic, research, and professional.
You will bring a strong technical expertise alongside a customer-centric approach, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver smart, sustainable digital solutions. Key Responsibilities
Lead the configuration, integration, and support of on-premises and cloud-based applications across the University.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within ECU’s applications landscape, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and user needs.
Collaborate with managed service providers, vendors and internal teams to deliver seamless technology experiences.
Contribute to the successful delivery of key digital transformation projects using contemporary project management methodologies.
What You Will Bring
We're seeking candidates with a proven ability to lead and deliver within complex application environments. Specifically, you’ll have:
At least 5 years' experience in application management, support, and delivery roles in a mid-sized organisation, including 3 years' hands-on software development experience.
Advanced knowledge of application integration, configuration and development, particularly in hybrid cloud and SaaS/PaaS environments.
A strong track record of working effectively with managed service providers and external vendors.
Solid understanding of IT project lifecycles and proven ability to deliver solutions within scope and timelines.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful business conversations.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a national police clearance.
