About the role we are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilitiesability to lead team and work by example . Manage procurement processes, including tendering and subcontractor selection. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Evaluate and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal terms and conditions.

Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports. Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes. Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic advice to mitigate financial risks. Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. Oversee final accounts and ensure timely project close-outs.

Qualifications and experience a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.  years of proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, with at least 2 years in a senior position. Strong understanding of construction contracts, including NZS3910.

Proficiency in cost estimation tools and project management software. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Membership or certification with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, NZIQS) is an advantage.
