Senior Project Manager Talent location Sydney.

Talent International is working in partnership with a high-profile NSW Government organisation to assist in sourcing a Project Manager on contract based in Parramatta.

The Project Manager is required to lead an interagency strategic project which will effectively replace a current policing system and transition the business to a technologically advanced solution within telecommunications space. The project will require working in collaboration with several external defence and emergency service agencies.

The project requires someone to undertake strategic procurement activity as an immediate priority as well as the following key duties provide leadership at a team and senior level and negotiate issues and solutions across the division and organisational boundaries including with the client group and internal and external stakeholders.

Lead, motivate and develop the Project Delivery team through day to day and formal performance management processes to facilitate achievement of business goals. Ensure that customer needs, expectations and satisfaction are proactively managed including compliance with client specifications and quality assurance standards. Manage all change management activities for the project including training.

This position will suit a Senior Project Manager who has experience in dealing with various stakeholders particularly at the executive level, internal as well as external, understands the operating model with excellent analytical skills.

Previous experience within Police, Legal or Justice sector will be highly regarded along with the following skills demonstrated experience with a strong track record in delivering high quality successful ICT projects using contemporary project management methodologies and application development methodology.

Certified in project management best practice methodologies, (preferably PRINCE2) with demonstrated skills and experience in using contemporary project management methodologies to deliver best practice, customer focused ICT projects.
