We are seeking an experienced, client focussed Occupational therapist with a passion for burns to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau District.

The Ideal candidate will have, burns and plastics/scar management experience, and hand therapy/splinting skills. We cover Burns, plastics and paediatrics and this roles will cover our outpatient service though this will be reviewed with the right candidate in mind.

This position provides a fantastic opportunity to practice in a specialised environment with access to experienced senior therapists to support you. You will be working with a supportive multidisciplinary team in the well-respected National Burn Centre.

Our team has a well-established tutorial and in-service programme which promotes continuous learning for all staff.

Essential:

• NZ Registered Occupational Therapist with a valid Annual Practising Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people
• Ability to take directions and good communication skills
• Computer skills
• Full, driver's licence
