About Toll Global Logistics - Grocery

Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.

Grocery services include the provision of warehousing services and an integrated transport strategy interstate and intrastate for large supermarkets and retailers with a diverse product range.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Woolworths operations across NSW. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction across multiple sites.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will have excellent people management skills within a unionised environment with 5 direct reports and 150+ indirect reports.

The position will be based in Minchinbury, Eastern Creek, Erskine Park & Moorebank, NSW.

As the Senior Manager – Woolworths NSW, you will:

Lead a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across NSW.
Develop and execute business and market plans aligned with national operational goals.
Champion high-quality customer service and foster strong client relationships.
Build and develop high-performing teams through mentoring, coaching, and succession planning.
Drive cost optimisation and value-added service delivery.
Oversee full P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior leadership within logistics or supply chain operations.
Proven expertise in warehousing, transport, and freight forwarding, ideally within FMCG.
Strong background in business development and growth planning.
Experience managing large teams and complex operational and unionised environments.
Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Business Management; postgraduate qualifications (e.g. MBA) highly regarded.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Deep understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and HSE compliance.
