With continued high growth and a healthy pipeline of transactions, the BDO Sydney Deal Advisory team are seeking to appoint a Transaction Services Senior Manager to join the team.

We are a high performing team having won various awards such as, Leading Accounting Adviser for IPOs on the ASX in 2024, a leading Financial Due Diligence provider globally and we have completed 1,752 deals globally in 2024!

Current opportunity

As a Senior Manager in Transaction Services, you will manage, and lead teams performing detailed financial analysis (i.e. financial due diligence and forecast reviews) and preparing reports/ presentations for senior management and boards.

This role will also provide the opportunity to:

Interact directly with senior management (C-suite) of our clients
Identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring
Performance management, mentoring and training junior staff members
Set a career path with clear and honest visibility around progression
Be responsible for business development and pursuit activities as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks.
About you

Our preferred candidate comes from a Corporate Finance background ideally from a professional services firm. You will be bold, client-focussed with a growth-mindset. Combined with:

6 years of relevant work experience (including 4 years’ experience in a dedicated Transaction Services role)
Background in another leading accounting or advisory firm or investment banking
Strong report writing, research, modelling and financial analytical skills.
Delivery and project management experience
CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar
Degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school in one or more fields including, Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business or Finance.
