We are currently seeking a Senior Funeral Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate must have a caring and understanding nature together with well-developed skills and sensitivity to circumstances involving grieving people.

Full training will be provided for you to perform the following in your role.

Responsibilities for this role include:
Meet with families initially and provide advice and guidance on their options
Responsible of being involved in all elements of service delivery
Capacity to be at ease in dealing with death and the expression of grief
Align our service offering with the needs of families
Assist in setting up, coordinating and conduction of funeral services
Drive the hearse or mourning cars
Oversee operations throughout the arrangement process and on a funeral day
General administration duties and branch assistance
Participation in on call and after hour’s roster, including weekends
Approach each day with a balance of sensitivity and efficiency
Skills and experience required for this role include:

Proven track record of delivering a high level of customer service
Current unrestricted drivers licence
Community focused mindset and well-developed interpersonal skills
Have excellent attention to details, for the coordination of paperwork, contracts and legal documentation.
