T+O+M Executive are working exclusively with a large ASX 100 Retail Group to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant position to join the Group Finance function. This household retail brand with over 100 network of stores prides themselves with their high calibre, ex-big 4 finance team and looking for a statutory reporting experienced Senior Financial Accountant with a big-4 audit background.

Role responsibilities assist in the preparation of statutory financial reports and ASX reporting. Managing the monthly general ledger reconciliation process and other month-end items. Perform intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation. Provide accounting support to the Financial and Commercial Accounting teams. Support the half-year and full-year audit process. Assist with board report preparation. Help to drive process and system improvements to enhance the financial reporting.

About you immidiately Available to start in June. CA qualified with Big 4 or mid-tier audit background with 1-2 years outside accounting experience. ASX listed reporting experience is advantageous. A go-getter with excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability. Technical understanding of AASB/IFRS experience.
