Our client is large ASX listing business, who recognise the importance of integrating sustainability into their financial operations and reporting. Their mission is to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation to drive sustainable growth. They currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to specialise in Sustainability Reporting.

Position overview as the Senior Finance Manager - Sustainability Reporting, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our sustainability initiatives through meticulous financial analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sustainability reporting frameworks that align with global standards and best practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and sustainability, capable of driving change and delivering impactful results.

Key responsibilities lead the development and implementation of sustainability reporting frameworks in compliance with the ASX and international standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and report on sustainability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present comprehensive sustainability reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external bodies.

Monitor and assess the financial implications of sustainability initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability reporting and integrate them into the company's reporting processes. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of sustainability-related financial data and disclosures.

Support the development of sustainability strategies and goals, aligning them with the company's overall financial objectives. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the impact of sustainability initiatives on the company's financial performance. Work closely with the Investor Relations team to communicate sustainability efforts and performance to investors and other stakeholders. Foster a culture of sustainability awareness and education within the finance department and across the organization.

Qualifications and experience bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting & be CA/CPA/CFA qualified. Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within a large corporate. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sustainability performance to diverse audiences. Proven track record of successfully managing Group Financial reporting projects and initiatives. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial reporting systems. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and influence strong partnerships at all levels across the organisation, including non-Finance stakeholders.
