Reporting to the Head of Finance for the Group Services Finance area you will manage two major portfolio's and partner with EGM level stakeholders, offering commercial insights to enable them to run their business units profitably and effectively.

Specific deliverables will include accountable for developing the strategy with respect to how Finance delivers BAU reporting to the Group Services Businesses. This includes consistent, insightful and timely reporting to GLT and EGMs that supports effective decision making. Accountable for providing strong leadership to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the Strategy & Innovation, Technology & Group Services Finance Team.

Manage, maintain and lead the improvement of financial reporting for the Risk, Finance & Property Businesses. Manage, maintain and lead improvement of the budget and forecast process in relation to the Risk, Finance & Property. Deliver financial reporting expenses for Risk, Finance & Property Businesses, with a deep understanding of underlying productivity drivers. Develop and maintain key relationships with Group Services Leadership Team members to drive and influence the successful delivery of key strategic objectives.

Deliver strategic Financial Support and advice for initiatives within Group Services Businesses, including scenario modelling, financial target setting, ad hoc business partnering support, business case preparation (non-Investment Slate) and targeted financial analysis.

Manage the month-end process for the Risk, Finance & Property functions. Deliver Finance support and advice to the Group Services Team (and their direct reports) including strategic financial advice, planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting. Contribute as required to the successful delivery of, and execution towards elements of the CFO plan. This is initially a 12 month contract with a strong chance of going permanent for the right candidate.

Required skills and experience 10-15+ years Financial Services expertise required, preferably within Financial Services or Insurance. CA/CPA/CIMA qualified. Deep finance business partnering experience ideally within a cost / expense focused role. Polished and robust stakeholder management skills and experience.
