Our Protected Vehicles team works closely with clients to design, manufacture, maintain and upgrade protected vehicles that keep people safe, all around the world. Our state-of-the-art workshops are set up to help us deliver Hawkei and Bushmaster military vehicles to strict defence standards – and set our people on rewarding career paths.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of contractual obligations from the capture phase through to contract closure. This includes managing strategic contracts and standing offers, with a focus on a long-term, multi-capability sustainment contract within the Protected Vehicles (PRV) portfolio. You will work closely with the Legal & Compliance team to ensure full adherence to all contractual commitments.

Based in Eaglefarm, Brisbane on Jagera and Turrbul land, your role purpose is to

Manage industrial sustainment contracts of scale and standing offers

Ensure the deliverability of Thales' proposed solution and successful contract delivery

Reduce contractual and financial risks while ensuring successful contract performance

Actively pursue commercial opportunities during the contract lifecycle

Ensure contractual obligations are completed, managing changes and ensure alignment

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

Qualifications in Business, Finance, Law, Project Management, or Engineering

Experience in contract management, legal, commercial, or project management ideally within performance-based contracting

Knowledge of ASDEFCON procurement and contract suite

Track record in delivering contracts of scale

Customer-oriented with strong relationship and interpersonal skills

Leadership experience and risk/opportunity management expertise
