Description
Senior BA's needed for a major insurance transformation, supporting policy and billing. 12‑month contract
Your new company
A major South Australian organisation is undertaking a large-scale insurance technology transformation following a significant structural change within its business. As part of this program, two Senior Business Analysts are required to support critical policy and billing initiatives within a modern, cloud‑based core insurance platform. This role will suit someone who can quickly get across complex environments, engage diverse stakeholders and bring structure to ambiguity. This is a pivotal engagement, joining a fast‑moving program at a key delivery phase, with a strong focus on requirements definition, process mapping and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams.
Your new role
Reporting into the delivery and transformation office, you will work across policy, billing, migration and distribution streams, supporting releases that are foundational to the future operating model. You will be comfortable operating in ambiguity, proactively working through dependencies and helping shape clarity where processes and systems are still evolving. Key responsibilities include:
End‑to‑end business requirements elicitation and documentation
Detailed process mapping across current and future state
Stakeholder engagement across technology, operations and governance teams
Supporting complex separation and transition activities
Contributing to a high-profile policy and billing release
Operating across multiple, interdependent workstreams
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on complex technology or business change programs. Ideally, over 5 years' experience purely in the BA domain.
Background in insurance, financial services or regulated environments (insurance highly regarded, not essential)
Strong capability in requirements, process modelling and stakeholder management
Confidence working under pressure, with evolving scope and shifting priorities
Self‑directed, inquisitive and not afraid to ask the right questions
Experience working within large transformation or TMO environments
This position is not suitable for recent graduates or junior candidates. Candidates without full working rights in Australia will not be considered.
What you'll get in return
A 12‑month contract on a business‑critical, highly visible program
Opportunity to shape core platforms and future ways of working
Collaborative team environment with senior exposure
Hybrid working environment
Competitive hourly / daily rate and immediate start (within 1–2 weeks).
