Established ten years ago as a dedicated solar energy and energy storage business, ZEN currently sells and installs some of the best solar energy products the world has to offer. Due to business growth, we are looking for a new person to join our team in the position of Senior Accounts Administrator in our Parnell office.
This is a varied and interesting role - including the full range of accounts administration functions from accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, payroll, PAYE, GST, stock reconciliation, Work in Progress, debt collection, and customer interaction and communication.
As part of working in our dynamic team it is imperative that all candidates can demonstrate their self-motivation, attention to detail, previous success in working in a similar business environment and the ability to work autonomously.
Your key strengths will allow you to quickly assist with processing payroll, updating business and CRM records, deal with invoices, liaising with debtors and creditors and key suppliers and customers, and keeping employee leave records and files up to date. The part-time hours are negotiable with the right candidate and need to take into consideration that payment deadlines must always be met.
Key responsibilities of the role include accounts and administration prompt processing of Accounts Payable transactions. Ensuring payments for creditors are paid on time to maximise available rebates and minimise penalties. High degree of competency with ERP, CRM (Netsuite preferred) and accounting software.
Maintenance of our accounting and payment processes - ensuring enhanced efficiencies and automation, reduction in manual errors, approvals etc. Manages payroll and all internal staff payment requirements. Handles general administration tasks in the finance function. Resolves queries from suppliers, installers, customers, and staff - can assist on customer service requests as and where appropriate.
About you proven administration/accounts experience - ideal candidate will have at least 4 years work experience in Accounts Receivable, Payable and Payroll. Efficient data handling ability - proficient in Excel and our accounting software. High attention to detail with forensic invoicing/accounting skills and a high level of accuracy.
Highly capable of troubleshooting and investigating payment issues with ease. Experienced and proactive in following up on debtors and successfully engage to resolve payment issues, ensuring debt collection.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with working under pressure and deadlines. Strong customer service approach and unflappable in frontline comms. Proactive with establishing better payment processes and services for our staff and our clients that ensure a great experience and no payment leakage.
