Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited, is an Australian public company whose headquarters are located in Melbourne with operations in Europe, USA and Japan.  Our mission is to be a leading, global biopharmaceutical company in the field of "theranostic" radiopharmaceuticals and we are currently developing a mid-to-late stage pipeline of products for prostate, kidney and brain cancer.

About the role as a member of the Finance Team, the Senior Accountant will report directly to the Group Finance Director and work closely with the CFO and Finance team to ensure they successfully contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic goals. This newly created role will take ownership of the Group's monthly transaction processes, reporting and financial compliance requirements. You will lead the coordination and delivery of the annual budget and forecasts whilst driving process improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities co-ordinating month-end closing for all entities of the Group within the accounting calendar deadlines. Ensure accounting entries are processed accurately and variances are investigated and reconciled timely. Delivering monthly financial reporting for group consolidation and preparation of monthly management reporting and variance analysis of actual results. Analysing program/contract performance alongside analysing commercial product performance including profitability, revenue, pricing and cost of goods sold.

Provide high quality of governance in forecasting, reporting and analysis of key project variables. Monitoring commercial contract compliance and performance. Take a lead role in the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project finance modules. Continuous knowledge of compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies and procedures. Tax submissions and payments of quarterly BAS and other financial compliance lodgements. Implementation of financial controls for projects with a focus on continuous improvement.

Skills and experience tertiary qualified with a degree in Accounting or a related discipline and must be CA or CPA qualified. Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior accountant with month end close process and reporting experience. Strong management accounting and analysis skills with broad accounting skills across management and exposure to statutory reporting.

Proven technical accounting and financial analysis skills with a strong commercial acumen. Proven experience with intermediate excel and SAP Business One ERP system. Proven experience in the implementation of SAP Business One ERP system. Excellent communication skills and having the ability to deliver financial information to a non-financial audience. Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage stakeholder expectations in a timely manner.

Strong skills in accounting systems and being able to identify process improvements and efficiencies. An excellent attitude aligned to the Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited Values. Practical experience with a sound understanding of financial principles of program/contract and commercial management accounting best practices. Previous staff management experience is essential.
